Noseyparker

That's how noseyparker came about. Literally poking his nose into our affairs. He's one and a half months short of his 7th birthday...we cannot quit exclaiming how fast time has flown by. 7 long furry years with us and this boy never fails to bring a smile or elicit a frown on a daily basis. Such is a baby that we can talk forever of.

Whiskers

Dog have whiskers, like cats. Here's poochie boy's whiskers looking so very unkempt. Wonder what would happen if I tried to pluck one off someday? HAHAHA.

Durian treat

The family is a huge fan of durian and we decided to share some love with the boy!

YO!

Just a lil update on the furball..his hotspots are back..starting at his paws. :( Started him on medication...hope it goes away soon else this hot summery weather is gonna make him extra cranky! Spotted him trying to chew the itch off...literally chewing his nails off the very spot that it itches and hurts at the same time. Poor fella.

Anyhoo..that's him peering in every time the sliding door's left ajar to monitor what we're doing in the house!

Baby habits never die

He used to love digging a hole in the garden to sit his fat furry self on....many moons later, the habit has not been broken...sharing his guilty love with you guys! Seemingly cooler to sit on soil than tiles?

Only our dear boy has the answer.

EMO

Emo is qooki with his face slouched onto the metal rod and attempting a pensive mood. He's sucha major POSEUR.

I hear you!

This is where the boy chills every weekend when we're around - placing his ears close by the gate to pick up every slightest sound to oppose.



I wish for a dog's life sometimes - LAZE AND DO NOTHING!

We've gotten a new pet - ham ham the hamster but Qooki knows nothing about it yet. We're worried he'll eat her up, given his display of aggression with the toad last night. He was willing to forgo dinner for an hour-long barkfest with it. =_=

The fur divide

It amazes me how even his colouring is - the brown and white divide...love that his ears are both brown and when you watch him from above, it forms such a symmetry. Honestly for bi or tri-coloured dogs it does change the way the pooch looks with different proportions of colours! His brother was wayyyyy more handsome though!

Guard mode

He guards too much and excessively too. Perch himself next to the parents' favourite corner near the chairs and he'll be content watching flies, ants...swaying trees. I wish he would spend his time more productively....like gardening? Teehee.

Stick that tongue out!

MY favouritest shot of the lot!!!! He's always had a habit of biting onto his tongue and leaving part of it sticking out when he's bored...and here's one of him in that whole tongue action. Loves it to bits. It's the only puppy bits of him that remains consistently so through the years. No longer does he sleep belly up - methinks he's gotten too heavy to do that but he does go into that mode when asking for belly rubs...but a sleeping corgi in that position is ultimate max cute! Sigh, I wish he were a pup all over again though, we missed the whole droppy ears and acting coy in the first couple of months.

I think Qooki knows his photogenic side best - here's it with a side tilt. Handsome much! These days he's so sensitive to the camera, trying to capture memories is sooooo difficult, even on sports mode. Using the iphone ain't any better either.

If he had a passport, this could be the mugshot!

Earful

The obsession with his ears continues. I wonder if he prefers them droppy, so he can shut off us yelling at him every now and then. HAHA!

The look of innocence

Trust him to shoot us innocent looks every time he does something wrong! Don't think we've ever given up trying to make him a better pooch. Probably he exploits this faith that we have in in, so he pushes the envelope every now and then, reminding us who's BOSS. (Obviously not us!)

Just the other day - he ran helter skelter across the living room, bundled out and made a dash for the gate, thankfully it was closed. GRR! Grass is always greener beyond the gates.

Love them ears

Ears made for eavesdropping. Love them when they're so upright. We missed the times when he was still a baby and ears flopping all over - utter cuteness I say!

Nose-ying around

His favourite past-time - sticking his nose into every single thing that he deems fit. Qooki's sucha huge noseyparker...every business is his and his to care.

From the Mom trying to hang the clothes to the moving mop to the neighbour pruning her plants to the cat meowing somewhere down the lane to the dad coughing - it's HIS problem.

What did we ever get ourselves into with such a noseyparker of a pooch! Loosen up furball!

Not his bestest smile...but it's friday folks!!

I once thought - are dogs always so happy since they look like they're smiling with their mouths open, with the exception of breeds like pugs and bull dogs - no matter how they try, they always look so pissed.

The look that he has all the time - half biting the tongue, ears pulled back and all ready to charge if he hears a foreign noise.

We always wonder when will this tenacious lil boy calm down and stop trying to scream at the thunder or find out where the noise comes from.

Corgi Butt Pants

Caught the boy peeing - and for once, I snapped a shot of his corgi pants ! Looks like they need some grooming soon. Acks! Always amuses me how short his legs are but he garners enough strength to lift them up to pee. LOL.
